Weeks 1-2: Foundation & Assessment Mastery

Launch into the unique world of premarital and marriage coaching. Complete your own SYMBIS Assessment, distinguish coaching from counseling and mentoring, and master the SYMBIS platform. You’ll learn how the textbook and workbook integrate seamlessly to create powerful coaching conversations.

Weeks 3-4: Application & Live Coaching

Apply SYMBIS workbook exercises using a coach approach and observe live coaching demonstrations with couples. You’ll document ICF Core Competencies in action and participate in detailed debriefs that sharpen your coaching skills.

Weeks 5-6: Marriage Coaching Tools & Techniques

Explore the unique role of the marriage coach and dive deep into practical tools – from the Heart-Hope-Skills framework to the Speaker-Listener Technique. You’ll learn to view the marriage as your client and discover what healthy, growing marriages truly need.
