Daniela Kostova had built a solid career as an HR professional for a Dutch company in Lovech, Bulgaria. But beneath the surface of professional success, her heart pulled toward something deeper. All her life, she’d longed to help people thrive – to discover their true calling from God and step into their purpose victoriously.

The question wasn’t if she was meant for more. It was how.

Everything shifted when a friend took her through a transformational coaching program. “I changed from the inside out,” Daniela recalls. “I broke through limiting beliefs and discovered who I truly was and what my purpose from God is.”

In prayer, she asked the Lord directly: “Okay, God, I see what my purpose and calling are – but how do I do it?”

His answer came through her friend’s simple words: “It’s coaching.”

Daniela began searching for coaching training, but nothing felt right. The secular programs she found felt hollow – “so ‘marketing,’ self-oriented… their motivation was all making money, business, not a higher cause.”

She wanted something different. Something rooted in God. A place to grow not just in skills, but in faith, surrounded by believers who wanted to grow and serve together.

Then her friend connected her with a PCCI graduate.

“When I heard her story and all about PCCI, I just knew in my heart: this is home. I had found my family.”

Still, fear whispered its doubts. Would being Bulgarian make her feel alone, small, irrelevant – as if she came from a completely different world? The investment felt big. The leap felt uncomfortable.

But Daniela prayed, and she jumped.

The training surprised her immediately. “They throw you directly to practice – learning by doing. Just like with eagles teaching their young to fly.”

But then came the valley.

Partway through, the impostor feelings crashed in. Maybe I’m not good enough for this. Maybe I was mistaken. Maybe I’m not truly made for it. The thoughts were loud enough that she considered quitting.

She prayed. Her peer group of coaches prayed for her. She listened to a message that completely flipped the script.

And something shifted.

“I rose up again, full of faith and God’s strength, and I sensed deep inside: I AM BEING a coach. I am not only DOING coaching anymore.”

That moment – moving from doing to being – changed everything. Daniela discovered the most valuable lesson PCCI taught her: Trust the process. She learned to listen at a completely different level, hearing things she’d never heard before. She found peace even when things didn’t align with her expectations.

Today, Daniela coaches actively from Bulgaria. She built her own website. She’s learning entrepreneurship. She has clients experiencing transformed perspectives on who they are and what they’re capable of – including one navigating significant health changes who now takes bold new steps forward with a renewed mindset.

But the transformation isn’t just in her clients. It’s in Daniela herself.

“I felt like coaching training coached me,” she reflects. She shows up more confidently in relationships. She makes new steps boldly into new areas. She experienced spiritual restoration.

And her vision? It’s grown wider. She dreams of seeing Christian coaching expand across Eastern Europe, raising the standard and changing the world – one conversation at a time.

When asked what she’d tell someone hesitating on the edge of this decision, Daniela doesn’t hesitate:

“It is worth every second, every effort, and every cent. It’s not spending any of these – it’s your priceless investment in your future self.”

And to her past self, worried and afraid? “You are worrying for nothing. God is walking this journey beside you, and it will be a success no matter what. There is no failure, no losing scenario.”
