Cheryl Scanlan, MCC, CPCC
Cheryl began coaching in 2004 after a long battle with a difficult disease served as a Divine incubator for growing a focused love for the Lord and His church body. In 2003, her husband and best friend of 30 years, Tom, was the first to suggest life coaching as a possible vehicle of ministry to the body. Cheryl now mentors other coaches, coaches individuals from all walks of life, develops and teaches curricula and has most recently developed a children’s series. But her passion is for seeing God’s people walk in step with Him. An ardent student of God’s Word, she is a trained Precept Bible Teacher and has studied the Word inductively for over 15 years.
Cheryl has developed two curricula. One for professional development called ACT! with 60 ACSTH approved hours by ICF and one for personal development called Promised Land Living, a 6 month to 1 year process for intense development of top leaders in the church body. Both curricula are used as the primary tools for developing coaches and leaders at her church. Pastors, elders and lay leaders have all benefitted from the skills developed, honed and refined through ACT! and PLL.
